The program sees donations of pre-loved baby and nursery items cleaned, safety checked and distributed to families in need. Many of these items would otherwise end up in landfill, so the program is transforming what could have been waste into essential items that make a difference in families’ lives.

During our partnership, the program assisted 286 families, 18 of which returned to Olivia’s Place for their next pregnancy, showing families trust Olivia’s Place as their village and feel safe reaching out when they need support. This shows how important early intervention is in preventing bigger challenges in later life, according to Olivia’s Place Operations Manager Pheba Daniel.

“Thanks to Loy Yang B’s generous funding, our Material Aid program has seen remarkable growth which has not only increased our impact but has also kept our dedicated volunteers engaged and motivated,” Pheba said.

“Loy Yang B’s support has enabled us to maintain a vibrant and active volunteer community, all working together to give back and strengthen our community.”

Olivia’s Place was also a cause our team was happy to support through volunteering activities.
