Raising awareness and fostering discussions on important issues

This included the annual league-wide mental health round, which raises awareness and removes stigma around mental health and is well embraced by all 10 clubs. Other initiatives included the ‘Orange round’ for gender equality, speak and share sessions, inclusion events, Indigenous education support, social inclusion and education on preventing violence in society. Clubs also had the opportunity to engage speakers on topics relevant to challenge being faced within their clubs.

“We thank Loy Yang B for their contribution to the Alinta Energy Gippsland League which allow us to make these events that support our clubs and community possible,” Gippsland League General Manager Daniel Heathcote said.

We have extended our partnership with the Gippsland League to help expand education on community issues for the next three years.
