We're pleased to announce the recipients of our latest Community Partnership Program grants, with 30 local community groups awarded funding of up to $5,000 to support projects that make a difference across Gippsland.
The latest round of funding will help deliver a diverse range of initiatives, from food relief programs supporting those experiencing cost of living pressures, to community education projects, equipment upgrades and events that bring people together.
The successful projects represent a broad cross-section of organisations working across our six community focus areas of Health, wellbeing and recreation; Children and young people; Environment; Welfare and disability; Diversity and inclusion; and Arts and culture.
Local organisations play a vital role in creating stronger, more connected communities, and we're excited to support projects that will deliver lasting benefits throughout the region.
The video below introduces this year's successful recipients and highlights the important work they will undertake with the support of our Community Partnership Program.
As we enter the third and final year of agreements with our 10 major community partners, we're also taking the opportunity to reflect on what has been achieved through these long-term partnerships. Together, we've supported initiatives that have improved wellbeing, strengthened community connections, enhanced opportunities for young people and delivered positive outcomes across Gippsland.
Congratulations to all grant recipients. We look forward to seeing the impact your projects will have in our community over the coming year.
